All those scurrilous rumors you’ve heard are indeed true: I’ve written a guide to the third season of the ABC television show Castle. And you can buy it for $2.99 right now in Kindle, Nook, and PDF formats for any e-reader or computer.
- Buy from Amazon (Kindle)
- Buy from Barnes & Noble (Nook)
- Buy from Hyperink (any format)
How did this happen? Well, fellow writer and old college bud Alana Joli Abbott pointed me in the direction of Hyperink. They do lots of these Quicklets on TV shows and books; they’re similar to Cliffs Notes, summarizing the important points and acting as a companion or study guide.
For a show like Castle, getting all the details right can indeed be a daunting challenge. The characters enjoy talking fast, dropping names of suspects, and rushing from one clue to another. So yes, a writing assignment that involves watching 24 episodes of fun television can indeed be quite a bit of work. Heck, just making sense of the whole Kate Beckett’s mom thing could be a doctoral dissertation. You’re welcome.
Did I mention you can buy it now for $2.99? You can.
