As promised way back in June, a short story of mine has been published at the online Marco Polo Arts Mag as part of its 100×100 fiction contest, featuring one hundred stories of exactly 100 words each.
The story is called “Old Girlfriend,” and I feel compelled to mention that it is in fact entirely a work of fiction, despite sharing some elements with a song I’ll be posting on Tuesday. Because both involve the vagaries of time and causality, this out-of-order disclaimer amuses me all the more.
This might make more sense in two days.

The first news item was reported by Reuters: the chairman of Foxconn told reporters, “It’s not easy to make the iPhones. We are falling short of meeting the huge demand.” That fact was sort of common knowledge already.
Then DigiTimes reported that Foxconn was planning on opening manufacturing plants in the United States. The source? “Market watchers.” OMG, iPhones made in America, right?
